Third Role

The Student Chamber takes positions on a wide range of society-wide issues, including matters of a political nature. The Student Chamber is a non-partisan organization that bears political responsibility. The Student Chamber is aware of the need to discuss and promote society-wide topics, some of which include equality, sustainability, and climate change. In cooperation with our partners, we will actively engage in these discussions.

As a representative of the younger generation, the Student Chamber will monitor topics in the public sphere and take positions on them.

The Student Chamber will continue to present the Jan Opletal Award every year, in cooperation with the association Díky, že můžem, for an outstanding contribution to the development of the academic community, the secondary school environment, or civil society, on the occasion of the celebrations of November 17 as International Students’ Day. We will also take part in and participate in other celebrations and historical commemorative gatherings.
